Suggested Processing Applications

30/60 Clarification Aid is used to remove unwanted contaminants in a variety of fixed bed applications from small cartridges to large towers. Common uses of 30/60 Clarification Aid include:

• Purification of solvents used for dry cleaning. Removes impurities such as dyes, superfine particles, fatty acids, water and other contaminants.
• Removal of surfactants and water from jet fuel, both in fixed bed tower and cartridge applications. Refiners and pipeline operators can use a single mesh size or a sequence of sizes as the application dictates.
• Removal of organic acids, alcohol, water, sludge, color bodies, peroxides, polar contaminants and other oxidation products which result from heat buildup in dielectric oil used to insulate commercial transformers.
• Removal of color bodies and polar contaminants from a wide range of industrial processing chemicals and solvents.
